Team and permissions
Invite people, set each person's role and manage licenses.
In the Team tab, the admin invites people by email and sets what each one can do. Everyone has their own account: nobody shares a login.
Roles
| Role | What it does |
|---|---|
| Bug Reporter | Uses the Report a problem mode. Ideal for support, product and operations. |
| QA | Uses QA Mode, with test cases, sessions and test plans. |
| Both | Access to both modes. |
| Company admin | Extra option for any role: manages the team, integrations, AI and billing. |
Invite
- step 01Open Team
Click invite and enter the email and name.
- step 02Choose the permission
Bug Reporter, QA or Both. Check Make company admin if needed.
- step 03Send
The person gets the invite by email with a temporary password and changes it on first sign-in.
Licenses
Each plan has a number of licenses. To downgrade, first deactivate the people above the new plan's limit.
Sign in with Microsoft
When someone signs in with a Microsoft account from a domain that already has a company in Capto, an access request is sent to the admin for approval. If your company blocks unverified apps, your IT admin needs to approve Capto in Microsoft Entra.
