What is Capto
The AI bug report extension: it records the problem in the browser and delivers a ready card to Jira or Azure DevOps, with the line of code.
Capto is an extension for Chrome, Edge and Brave that turns any problem found on a website into a complete technical bug report. The person who finds the problem describes it in one sentence and reproduces what they did. Capto records the rest: every click, every filled field, the network requests with what was sent and received, the console errors and the environment.
With that material, the AI writes the technical description, the steps to reproduce and the likely cause. The report becomes a card in Jira or a work item in Azure DevOps. If your repositories are connected, the AI also reads the front-end and back-end code and comments on the card with the file, the line and the suggested fix.
Who it is for
- QA and testing: evidence for every test case with steps, screenshots and network, without building documents by hand.
- Support and operations: customers and analysts report the same way, and IT gets everything it needs to reproduce.
- Product and development: fewer "can't reproduce" tickets and less time spent hunting for where the error is.
How it works, in 4 steps
- step 01Describe
In the extension, write what you tried to do, what you expected and what happened.
- step 02Record
Click record and reproduce the problem. Capto captures steps, screenshots, network and console.
- step 03Send
One click and the report goes to the board you chose, with the AI analysis and the attachments.
- step 04Fix
The code analysis points to the file and the line. From the card you go straight to the repository.
